Josh Muller

Josh founded Maple Creek Coaching after building and selling a construction company of his own. That experience shapes how he works: he knows the pressure, risk, and responsibility of leading an owner-led business.

Today he coaches owners, facilitates leadership team meetings and planning sessions, and created BUILD, a peer community and practical method for business owners. His work centers on honest conversations, strong relationships, and turning insight into action.

Financial clarity, strategy, and operations

Matt LaFleur

Matt founded Forest City CPA and works as a financial and operating adviser. He is a CPA licensed in Ohio and California, with more than 14 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and advisory work.

He works with owners to understand their numbers, make financial information more useful, and bring structure to consequential decisions. He also facilitates BUILD alongside Josh.

Why the two of us

Josh helps owners and teams see the human and leadership side of the next move. Matt brings the financial and operating view.

Maple Creek Advisors brings those two perspectives into one relationship, so a sound decision connects to the work required to carry it out.

Who we work with

Business owners, entrepreneurs, and leadership teams of owner-led companies, typically 5 to 50 people, in any industry. We have offices in Cuyahoga Falls and Elyria, work across Northeast Ohio, and much of the work can also happen remotely.

Josh created BUILD (Business United in Leadership Development), and Matt facilitates it with him. BUILD combines a peer community of owners with a practical method. It is open to owners whether or not they work with us.
